Hi, I'm from The Netherlands and being gay over here is completely normal and accepted within the mainstream. I've only been a while in New York and there is no problem with being gay. After all New York was founded by the Dutch. How i gaylife in Florida? It comes accross as somewhat conservative in this state.

You’ll probably never read this but as a Canadian I wouldn’t say we are a cross between British and American. We are really so different. We do have divisive politics but generally we are more progressive. There are a few loonies who have an issue with reproductive rights are not enough to change things. It was determined legal by our Supreme Court so it’s covered by our healthcare nationwide. Gay marriage has been the norm here for so many years and LGBTQ protections are nationwide but there are a few who have issues with trans kids. The weather here is much warmer. I live in Edmonton and we hardly had snow this year. You’ll want to live in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick because they have milder weather but they get hurricanes. It is much safer here as we have gun restrictions and any gun crimes almost always involve firearms smuggled here from the USA. So aside from the fact we are part of the commonwealth i eoul$nt say colonialism is our common connection. No civil war. No donald Trump politics. We have history we shouldn’t be proud of but there are so many other countries who owe apologies to people based on things done decades ago
